Krista Papista is an artist and music producer born in Nicosia, based in Berlin. She creates anarchic performances, videos and images that are playgrounds for twisting and re-imagining ceremonies and traditions from the Mediterranean, the Balkans and the Middle East.
During the residency she’ll work on her project CY COWGIRLS a publication of fictional stories of cowgirls in North Cyprus, part of an upcoming album.
